The original kapa of the design on this bag is 12 feet long by 1 foot wide and was a man’s loincloth or malo in Hawaiian.  The design is a faithful reproduction of a very old kapa.  The name Kaihe is an ancestor of mine who’s family was from Tahiti.  Because this kapa now lives in Tahiti, I named the kapa for that family.  5 x 8”, lined and padded
